How do you apply an anti-glare film?

We are aware thatapplying a blackout film to a window can be frightening and seem complicated. But rest assured, with our blackout films for windows, installation is easy and straightforward!

Film installation is easy and accessible for everyone. We recommend that you start by working on a clean surface. So before applying a blackout film to your window, it's essential to clean your glass. You can use soapy water and a spray bottle to do this.

Once the rolls of blackout film have been unpacked, our films are covered with a protective film. Spray the installation surface (the glazing) and the back of the blackout window films with soapy water using a spray bottle. The films will adhere. Using the water, simply position the vinyl and slide it in place.

Once you've installed the blackout film, simply smooth it down with a squeegee or spatula to remove any excess water.

If necessary, use a cutter to finish off the contours. If required, we offer an installation kit including various tools and accessories. Our window films are easy to attach.

Your personalised window film

Window film is a film that can be used on all glass surfaces, such as windows, shop windows and glazing. Window films can be used for a variety of purposes, such as solar protection, blackout, decoration or signage. They can also guarantee discretion by preventing prying eyes from penetrating through the glass.

There are different types of window film, such as one-way film, which allows people to see in from the inside out without being able to see in, or frosted glass, which creates a certain opacity. It is also possible to use adhesive films to embellish windows using stickers or decorative films.

Glazing films can protect windows against scratches, intrusion and heat. Anti-heat films are designed to reduce the amount of heat entering the room, while safety window films can prevent the glass breaking in the event of an impact. Adhesive films can also be used for signage, such as displaying a company name or special offer.

Installing window film is a fairly straightforward task that can be carried out on single or double glazing. Adhesive films usually have an adhesive layer to improve adhesion. Glazing films can be an affordable alternative for embellishing or preserving windows.

Homeowners are increasingly turning to window films to add a touch of style and functionality to their windows. Whether it's to improve the aesthetic appearance of your home, enhance security, reduce heat or UV rays, or increase privacy, window films are a simple and cost-effective solution.
