Tailor-made blackout window film: customized frosted film

Blackout window film is a vinyl, PVC or polyester material that can be used directly on the surface of a window to make it opaque or semi-opaque. This film is frequently used to render the exterior invisible and improve privacy in homes, offices or vehicles.

Customized frosted blackout film is an adhesive material applied to glazing to reduce the transmission of visible light and provide a frosted appearance for greater privacy. It is also possible to customize this type of blackout film using designs, logos or patterns to suit the customer's particular needs.

Customizing frosted blackout film creates intimate, comfortable spaces in offices, meeting rooms, restaurants, hotels or even at home. In addition to providing extra privacy, customized frosted blackout film can add style and sophistication to any setting.

Depending on the customer's choice, the adhesive can be bonded as standard, or even from the inside of a window pane to make it visible from the outside, thanks to the inside bonding option. Designs and patterns can be cut into the frosted blackout film or printed directly onto the film surface. Customization options are virtually unlimited, enabling original designs to be created to suit individual needs and preferences.

Why use blackout film for windows?

By choosing a frosted film, you can be sure of effective protection against prying eyes, without losing light! In fact, this type of film still allows light to pass through, ensuring optimum comfort and a peaceful atmosphere in your home.

Blackout film has become a popular option for a variety of reasons. One of its greatest assets is its privacy, as it prevents prying eyes from entering your home or workplace.

However, window covering film also offers other benefits. It can significantly reduce the amount of light that penetrates, guaranteeing protection against harmful UV rays and excessive heat. This can help reduce air-conditioning and energy costs, while improving the comfort of your indoor environment.

What's more, blackout window film is easy to install and maintain. It can be customized to fit any window size, and can be removed without leaving a sticky residue on the surface.

How do I apply privacy film?

We're well aware that applyingblackout film to a window can be frightening and complicated. Rest assured, with our blackout films for windows, installation is easy and straightforward!

Film installation is easy and accessible for everyone. We recommend that you start by working on a clean surface. Before applying a blackout film to your window, it's essential to clean your glass. You can use soapy water and a sprayer for this.

Once the rolls of blackout film have been unpacked, our films are covered with a protective film. Spray the installation surface (the glazing) and the back of the window blackout films with soapy water using a spray bottle. The films will adhere. Thanks to the water, all you have to do is position the vinyl and slide it on.

Once you've installed the blackout film, simply apply it with a squeegee or spatula to remove any excess water.

If necessary, use a cutter to finish the contours. If required, we offer an installation kit with various tools and accessories. Our window films are easy to attach.
