Our recycling and waste reduction policy

We ensure that our partners respect eco-responsible practices, such as sorting and recycling packaging, or using recycled or biodegradable packaging materials. In this way, we are committed to a global approach to sustainable development.

Improving the recycling of everyday plastic waste is a priority for the environment. As a printer, we have surrounded ourselves with players who can help us reduce our waste production as much as possible.

Paprec

As the French leader in sorting and recycling, we chose Paprec to help us manage our waste. The company offers integrated solutions for the entire upstream part of the waste treatment chain:

HP Planet Partners

We recycle all our HP Latex consumables through the HP Planet Partners program, so that they can be transformed into new products and do not end up in oceans or landfills. Cartridge packaging and printheads are made of cardboard, making them fully recyclable.

Our company has recycling programs in place to reduce the amount of waste we produce. We recycle all the paper, cardboard and plastic bottles we use on our premises. We have also set up waste reduction programs, using reusable cups and plates instead of disposable ones.

All employees are made aware of the need to recycle their waste, and sorting garbage cans are available throughout the company.

Our energy management

Our company is aware of the importance of reducing its electricity consumption and efficiently managing its water consumption as part of an environmentally-friendly approach. We have therefore implemented a number of concrete measures to achieve this objective.

As far as electricity is concerned, we began by making all our staff aware of the importance of reducing our energy consumption. We have adopted simple everyday gestures, such as switching off lights when leaving a room and during breaks, or unplugging unused electrical appliances.

We have also invested in more energy-efficient equipment, notably by replacing our old light bulbs with LEDs. We have also invested in modern, low-consumption equipment, such as more efficient air conditioners and heaters. Heating temperatures are moderate in winter, with a maximum of 19°C. As temperatures rise, we prefer to wear suitable clothing.

In addition, we are careful not to turn on the lights outside when the premises are occupied, and we favor natural lighting whenever possible.

Finally, we have introduced a policy of monitoring and measuring our electricity and water consumption, so that we can measure the effects of our actions and identify possible areas for improvement.
