Instructions for use
Substrate preparation
All surfaces, including freshly painted ones, must be cleaned before applying adhesive film.
Do not use greasy solvents such as methylated spirits.
Application
Check substrate temperature, which must be between 10°C and 30°C, and humidity below 80%.
Can be laid wet or dry.
Care
Always wait one week after application before cleaning the marking.
Use the same type of cleaning product as for high-quality painted surfaces. The product should be liquid, non-abrasive, free from aggressive solvents, and have a pH between 3 and 11 (neither too acidic nor too alkaline).
High-pressure cleaning must comply with certain rules:
- Maximum pressure 80 bar
- Maximum temperature 25°C
- Do not position the nozzle less than 30 cm from the surface, and 60 cm from welds
- Keep the jet perpendicular to the surface, without insisting on the edges.
Removal
The film has a permanent adhesive, making it difficult to remove.
The use of a heat generator can facilitate film removal.
Any residues can be removed with rubbing alcohol, which is strong enough to remove the adhesive without attacking the substrate.
