Instructions for use

Substrate preparation

All surfaces must be cleaned before applying an adhesive film, including freshly painted surfaces.

Do not use oily solvents such as methylated spirits.

Application

Check the temperature of the substrate, which must be between 10°C and 30°C, and the humidity below 80%.

Dry or wet application is possible.

Maintenance

Always wait a week after application before cleaning the marking.

Use the same type of cleaning product as that intended for high-quality painted surfaces. The product must be liquid, non-abrasive, without overly aggressive solvents and must have a pH between 3 and 11 (neither too acidic nor too alkaline).

High-pressure cleaning must comply with certain rules:

  • Maximum pressure of 80 bars
  • Maximum temperature of 25°C
  • Do not position the nozzle less than 30 cm from the surface and 60 cm from welds
  • Keep the jet perpendicular to the surface without insisting on the edges.

Removal

The film has a permanent adhesive, so it is difficult to remove.

The use of a heat generator can make it easier to remove the film.

Any residue can be removed with household alcohol, which is strong enough to remove the glue without attacking the substrate.
